OK, bond están un poco lejos de los géneros/subgéneros/fusiones que suelo dejarles en este blog; pero créanme que valen la pena.. Se trata de un cuarteto de cuerdas formado por mujeres, provenientes de Australia y del Reino Unido, quienes tocan Classical Crossover, lo que vendría a ser en pocas palabras, fusión de música clásica con beat ;) (para quien no sepa y quiera saber, un cuarteto de cuerdas, está formado por 2 violines, 1 viola y un cello..) Tienen en su haber 3 álbums ("Born", "Shine" y "Classified") y 2 compilaciones ("Remixed" y "Explosive: The Best of bond"), mas 2 DVDs ("Live at the Royal Albert Hall" y "bond: Video Clip Collection").. La banda se formó desde un principio con Haylie Ecker en 1er violín, Eos Chater en el 2do violín, Tania Davis en viola y Gay-Yee Westerhoff en cello.. Después de un descanso, debido a una lesión de Eos, retornan a los escenarios, pero solamente a escenarios privados ¬¬.. y más reciente, firmaron con la empresa francesa Peugeot, para arreglar las Cuatro Estaciones de Vivaldi, para la publicidad y presentación del Peugeot 308CC.. Actualmente, la banda esta compuesta por Tania Davis en el 1er violín, Eos Chater en el 2do violín, Elspeth Hanson en viola y Gay-Yee Westerhoff en cello.
